The Pilot's Desk v1.5 Instruction Manual 1.1 Introduction The Pilot's Desk is an easy-to-use pilot editor for X-Wing. It is compatible with all current versions of X-Wing. Made as a companion utility to XManager, The Pilot's Desk will allow you to edit your pilot files. 1.2 Installation Installation is easy. Just copy these files to your Windows directory, and this program will be ready to run: COMMDLG.DLL CMDIALOG.VBX 1.3 Overall Instructions Using The Pilot's Desk is easy. Here is an explanation of what each individual option does in its respected menu. 1.3.1 File Menu Open- This option allows you to specify which file to load into memory. Save- This option saves the current file in memory. Exit- This option exits the program. 1.3.2 Awards Menu Flight Patches- This option will allow you to add flight patches to your pilot. Note: This option is similar to changing your pilot's Historic Mission status. When you add patches to your pilot, it is like completing the Historic Mission that corresponds with that patch. Flight Badges- This option will allow you to add flight badges to your pilot. General Awards- This option will allow you to add awards to your pilot. Note: When you add the Kalidor Crescent, the lines below it add awards to the Kalidor Crescent if you choose them instead. 1.3.3 Missions Menu TOD #1- This option will allow you to change the mission that your pilot is on. TOD #2- ^ TOD #3- ^ TOD #4- ^ TOD #5 ^ 1.3.4 Misc Menu TOD Status- This option will allow you to specify the status of each TOD. Pilot Status- This option will allow you to change the rank and status of your pilot. 1.3.5 About Menu This menu will bring up registration options. 1.4 Legal Disclaimer The Pilot's Desk is owned by Glenn Price and Greg Sturmer.
