Fiction - All In
With the latest sign of insolence of Task Force Republic Shield, Titan has put all their chips on the table and has launched an all-out assault on the crippled New Republic. This story and this fiction will be broken down on several sectors (TBD, but one will be an attack, one will be a defend, and one will be an evac)


Intel confiscated from the Victory Star Destroyer [i]Serpent’s Fang[/i] has given Task Force Republic Shield specifics on the amount of forces remaining from Titan and the blueprints for an incoming all out strike by the fleet. While lacking in the numbers, Task Force Republic Shield has the remnants of a home-field advantage as well as a solid estimate as to the expectations of their attack. A few planets on Greeop are essentially up for grabs, particularly, Tarsonis, the heart of Greeop and the RS. Based on the overall objectives and story, the makings of the overall fleet objectives AND the fiction will determine the stages of the battle. Essentially, we will defend. If things turn in our favor, we can beat them down. If they worsen, we will be forced to evacuate. Needless to say, the risks and the losses in this mission will more than likely be extreme.


Participant Overall Objective: In a fiction based story, RS forces will work together through the writing of fiction post. The objective is for people to work together and write their assault and ultimately do all they can to preserve the survival of the RS as we know it. Penetrating all the way through Tarsonis, Titan is gambling on the weakened state of the RS (based on their Intel) and their skillset. Writers can either write alone or collaborate with other RS members in joint posts to achieve their goal. I must stress, this is for the survival of the RS as we know it.


Individual Scoring: IronMan will once again GM the story. Scoring will take place based on the number of post per each session. If that requirement is met, THEN the overall words will be factor. Extra points will be given for joint posts or creative/witty actions, and whether or not objectives have been landed. (Joint posts will share the number of words in the posts).


RS Defeat:Task Force Republic Shield is crushed, suffers HEAVY losses, and loses control of the planets at stake. Tarsonis is bombarded with an aerial assault and Titan lands forces on the planet.


Stalemate: 50% of the RS Forces are able to evacuate without fear of conquest. Losses are suffered but the RS is not wiped out. Greeop is crippled, Tarsonis is sustained but with heavy damage that will cost an exorbitant amount of credits and resources to get their bearings.
Objective: At least 4 unique post will take place for each session of the thread (16 total). Joint post between several individuals will count as multiple post depending on the number in said post.


Minor RS Victory: 75% of the RS Forces are either able to evacuate or are maintained in defense of Tarsonis. The RS will still suffer about a quarter of those losses and they will need to gather resources to regroup, but the victory will result in doing enough damage to prevent Titan from claiming that planet on a later date.
Objective: Stalemate objectives. In addition, at least one (1) joint post must take place and at least two (2) post must be over 500 words per each session.


Major RS Victory: Greeop holds with losses, but Tarsonis does not suffer crippling damage. Titan is essentially beaten back and forced to scatter and retreat. RS suffers 20% losses but are not forced to surrender or retreat. Tarsonis will need repairs, but the amount of recovery time will be minimal.
Objective: Stalemate objectives. In addition, two (2) joint post must take place AND AT LEAST one (1) post must be over 1,000 words per each session.
