ITOD: OP 11: Base Plunder Phase One
Briefing
- The successful rescue of our spies leads us to the home base of our greatest rivals. We will now use the data that the Empire has gathered on them in two separate runs. Our first run will be used to wipe out their launch pads. This should severely limit their defensive power in our second run. A single Y-Wing should be sufficient for this phase of the attack. However, we have allowed you a wingman.
Our rivals have managed to steal Imperial fighters to conduct their operations. Watch for defenders using Imperial gunboats.
In addition, our briefing map does not indicate that the enemy base is located within a portion of the [Shakak] asteroid field. Although relatively sparse, your maneuvers must still be extra careful in this area. Good luck.
