ITOD: M6: Rescue Captives

Briefing

We on the Defiance have just recieved the last Alliance communication from Dahvis. From what we've made out, no other evacuating ships could make it past the Imperial's blockade. The ships that tried were quickly disabled, and the crews and passengers were made prisoners of the Empire. The Destroyers had no trouble dispatching their walkers and assault troop squadrons to the planet surface. Our brave soldiers tried to hold back the walkers as best they could, but they were hopelessly outnumbered and outgunned. The Imperial forces quickly stormed the mining base, and all our personnel were taken prisoner. After our colony had been cleared out, the orbiting Star Destroyers bombarded it into rubble. The Imperials are now pulling back out. Most of the Star Destroyers have left already. A convoy of Quadranium seized by the Imperials and freighters of prisoners bound for Kessel is currently headed toward a hyperspace jump point. We can let the steel go, but we can't afford to loose any of our men! Our plan is to disable the prison ships and rescue our staff. A-Wing Red will intercept the captured convoy as it leaves Dahvis. It will ID all craft, and try to clear away any defenses. Once we have found which ships are carrying passengers, we will deploy Y's to disable the ships and shuttles to rescue them. X-Wing Blue group will also fly in to help clear the defenses once they are assembled.
