ITOD: Academy Mission 8: No More Guffaws
Briefing
- The data that we got from the captured Freighters' computers was invaluable. We now know that the Frigate Guffawer's hyperdrive was severely damaged while escaping us a few missions back.
The Guffawer came out of hyper not far from Dantooine and has been waiting there for resupplies ever since. A minefield has been laid around it, and it still has its two whole TIE squadrons for defense.
A single X-wing from Col flight, flown by you, will enter with three A-wing escorts. X-wing Col is to clear the minefield, while A-wings Ins fly cover.
Two minutes into the mission, B-wings Aka will arrive to attack the Guffawer. X-wing Col and A-wings Ins are to take out any TIEs threatening to attack the B-wings. Any help in attacking the Guffawer would also be appreciated.
