ITOD: OP 9: Take out Intrepid's Escort
Briefing
- The Star Destroyer [Intrepid] is stranded in the [Circarpous] [System]. Its hyperdrive engines are damaged and replacement engines were destroyed by Alliance forces in our last operation.
The Alliance has decided to undertake a bold plan to destroy the Intrepid and thereby erase any trace of the Alliance's success in stealing the [Death Star ]plans.
The first part of the attack plan is to isolate the[ Intrepid] from her protective escort by destroying any reinforcements sent to guard her. Once this screening force is neutralized, a direct assault on the Intrepid has a much better chance of succeeding.
A group of [Corvettes] and several [Assault Gunboats] are on their way to protect the Intrepid. Your mission is to destroy them!
