ITOD: OP 1: Escort Corvettes Fleeing Yavin
Briefing
- Though Alliance losses were severe, the [Death Star's ]destruction was a great victory. Even so, there is little time for celebration. With the Empire's discovery of our secret base on [Yavin], we find ourselves on the run again.
All personnel on [Yavin] must be evacuated. There cannot be much time left before an Imperial invasion force arrives. Alliance Command is asking for help from the [Defiance].
Our fleet is now scattering throughout the galaxy. Escape and survival are our main concern.
Welcome back, we all missed you. Your starfighter is the only one available to see five Corvettes safely to their jump point. They will take about [17] minutes to reach it. Glad to have you aboard, Red One!
There will be four Freighters loaded with foodstuffs retreating ahead of you. If they come under attack, you are to remain with [Crescent] Squadron. Our personnel are more important than our supplies!
