ITOD: Lyons Squadron: Capture Frigates
Briefing
- The mission to capture the [Arkanor] failed due to the unexpected arrival of a pirate or mercenary force led by the frigate [Black] and using Rebel and Imperial starfighters. The pirates were clearly in the pay of Emperor Palpatine's forces which is a most serious development. We must discover how they obtained the starfighters and whether they knew of our plan or if they were answering the [Arkanor's] distress call.
The [Black] is conducting a power transfer to the [Arkanor] while the damage we caused in the first attack is repaired. During this time both frigates are unable to move, so we must strike hard and fast. The [Y-Wings] will disable the frigates and [transports]
will carry commandos to capture the vessels. You must protect our ships while they conduct their mission from any remaining pirate [X-Wings] or [TIE Fighters].
