ITOD: OP 12: Recover Explosive Warhead
Briefing
- The [Cygnus Corp]. engineers have been "convinced" to modify one of our shuttles so that it will deceive the Star Destroyer [Invincible] into considering it an Imperial vessel.
General Madine's plan is to place an explosive device on board this shuttle large enough to destroy the Invincible. The success of this mission requires the capture of an [explosive device ]from the Empire's own arsenal.
An [Imperial Freighter], carrying these explosive warheads, has already been damaged by our forces in a previous attack.
You are to pilot a [Y-wing] in and destroy the mines that have been placed around the stranded freighter and then disable it. A [Shuttle] will then hyperdrive in to capture and repair the Freighter so its cargo can be recovered for use in our sabotage mission.
