ITOD: M5: Intercept Assault

Briefing

The Bashilak pirates have gotten revenge against us for destroying their base by tipping off the Imperials on our Quadranium refineries on Dahvis. Intelligence reports that a fleet of Star Destroyers has been loaded up with bombers and walkers, and has already made the jump to hyperspace. We don't have much time to evacuate the planet before the Imperials arrive! Several officers, including General Madine, are already leaving in shuttles. We are trying to get as many of our personnel out as possible on our corvette fleet. Our evacuation groups are expected to be intercepted by the Star Destroyer Avenger, as it is just about to come out of light speed. X-Wing Red will be sent to escort our evacuating ships. X-Wing Red's first job is to secure the area for our evacuating ships. The Avenger is expected to deploy TIE bombers to destroy our corvettes, take them out as far away from our ships as possible. Also, the Star Destroyer will probably send out fighters to clear the bomber's way. Try to keep your wingmen clear of attacks from behind. The Avenger will also deploy a set of surface landing barges, loaded with AT-AT and AT-ST walkers for an attack on our base. X-Wing Red's other job is to destroy the landing barges to delay a walker attack. Red leader, your wingmen are only ordered to patrol for all enemies. You will need to use your wingman commands to organize their attack.
