ITOD: HM 2: Assault Imperial Convoy
Briefing
- Following the [Shantipole] debacle, rumors of a powerful new Rebel fighter quickly spread through the Imperial fleet. By the time the first Alliance B-wings saw action against Imperial TIEs, the fear was so strong that the entire Imperial wing turned tail and ran at first sight of the strange new craft.
This mission recreates that action. It was a hit and fade attack on a convoy loaded with TIE Fighters.
The convoy was made up of several Freighters, some Transports and Shuttles. Escort was provided by four Corellian Corvettes. Additional escort was to have been provided by TIE Fighters from the [Petrakis ]base. These were the ones who ran from the fight.
Gunboats which arrived in the midst of the battle were not so timid, though. Destroy all of the Imperial Freighters and Corvettes.
