ITOD: M12: Sabotage Fleet

Briefing

As we told you during your last mission, the Imperials are massing a strike force to attack the Mon Calamari system. The watery planet of Mon Calamari is not only one of our major bases where our cruisers are built, but is also home to millions of Quarren and Mon Calamari beings, who are our greatest allies. If the planet was captured by the Imperials, the Alliance would loose a major asset in this war! General Crix Madine has come up with a last-chance plan to stop the Imperials from attacking. When the Empire's ships start to gather, we'll fly in the Star Destroyer Stalwart, which will masquerade as the Star Destroyer Immortal to ward off attention. While the other ships are charging their shields, the Stalwart will send out a group of sabotage fighters and leave. The sabotage fighters will be split into three groups. You will lead X-Wing Red group, which will head the attack on the Imperial capital ships. Y-Wing Gold will also help destroy the Imperial ships, using their torpedoes. TIE Red Alpha will be two decoy TIE Interceptors, which will watch Red and Gold group's back for enemy fighters. Your mission is to destroy ALL Imperial capital ships in the area, including Star Destroyers and frigates. Most will be charging their shields and awaiting a crew, so they will be very vulnerable. Our ultimate goal is to destroy the Star Destroyer Destructive, where Darth Vader is organizing the attack. Good luck, and remember that the fate of Mon Calamari lies with you!
