ITOD: OP 8: Escort VIP to Alliance Cruiser
Briefing
- Thanks to the timely intervention of Alliance forces, most of the [Habassan] convoy was saved. Now the [Habassa] have agreed to join the Rebellion. All that remains is a formal declaration aboard the Alliance flagship, the Cruiser [Independence].
Security is being kept very tight because the Empire has stepped up efforts to track our movements. Surveillance probes seem to be turning up everywhere.
The [Habassan] envoy has requested that [Red] Squadron be assigned the task of escorting their transport to the [Independence]. They have gained a great deal of respect for the warriors of the Alliance, especially the pilots of [Red] Squadron.
Three A-wings are to be sent to rendezvous with the [Habassan] Transport [Bardictol]. Our formal alliance with them will fall through if any harm comes to this delegation.
