ITOD: OP 13: Protect B-Wing Delivery
Briefing
- B-wings continue to be deployed as rapidly as possible. The new fighters are proving themselves well suited to the roles they were designed for. Nevertheless, some weaknesses have come to light. They have proven to be especially vulnerable to TIE Interceptors.
This requires that the B-wings have adequate escort when attacking a target defended by TIE Interceptors.
The Cruiser [Cathleen] is the next to receive a B-wing squadron. The Freighter [Radley] is carrying the new B-wings that are to be delivered to the Cruiser.
The [Radley] is being guarded by A-wing [Blue 5]. [Blue 5] reported a shield system failure and has requested immediate withdrawal. [Red] Squadron will send a pair of A-wings ASAP. The [Cathleen] should arrive about ten minutes after you.
