ITOD: OP 12: Begin Death Star Assault
Briefing
- The Empire has discovered the main Alliance base on the fourth moon of [Yavin ]and has sent the Death Star to destroy it. Our fleet has gathered to defend our base and to destroy the [Death Star].
Our scientists have concluded that the best tactic against the Death Star is to use our small, fast [starfighters] rather than send our larger starships.
Your mission is to clear a path to the Death Star by disrupting her escort force. Use your X-wing to destroy the [Comm Sat] that is being used to coordinate their defenses. Take out as many of the screening ships as possible to weaken the Death Star's protection.
