Minos Group Returns Triumphant
Tarsonis -- We are pleased to announce the triumphant return of the Minos Investigation Group from their investigative campaign abroad. The task group, under Admiral Hawkin’s command, was sent to the Minos Cluster in 44:1 to investigate rumours of increased piracy in the region. Four and a half months later the group have returned from the star cluster, having routed the Imperial battle group threatening the region with their pirate front.
Imperial forces in the Minos Cluster had been posing as the reconstituted White Guard pirate organisation, which was a major threat to RS forces in 43GrS. But the MIG, under Admiral Hawkin’s control, revealed and unravelled the Imperial deceit, ultimately defeating the Minos-based Imperial forces in the climatic battle in the Laridia system reported by the Mediator News Service on 44:5:11.
The return of the task group, and especially the pilots of the Patriot Starfighter Group, has renewed hope in the region, which has been flagging lately due to the drastic increase in lawlessness and piracy in the Greeop Sector, Minos Cluster and surrounding friendly territories. With the influx of much-needed reinforcements, it seems that Admiral Trebonious-Astoris and the Greeop Defence Force’s job of restoring peace and lawfulness to the home territories will be much more accomplishable.
