Blerthmore Attacked!
Blerthmore -- High Command has been relocated to the Imperial-class Star Destroyer Redemption following a massive attack on Blerthmore by Imperial forces.
The Command Dome lies in ruins, and many ships have been destroyed by this, the most daring attack to date. At about 0300 hours, a massive Imperial strike force dropped out of hyperspace from unexpected route over Blerthmore and commenced bombardment of its defenses and shipyards. Golan defense platforms Castor and Raptor were both destroyed.
Reinforcements from Tarsonis were interdicted en route, and half of the reinforcement group remained to deal with this additional threat. The other half resumed course to Blerthmore where, after inflicting one-quarter losses to the Imperial forces, managed to force the Imperial force into retreat.
It is currently unknown as to the reason why the Imperial forces retreated, as they still retained enough ships to overpower the remaining defense force.
High Command is currently planning an emergency meeting aboard the Redemption, but certain squadrons, such as Dragon Squadron under the lead of General Vaughan, have been activated for reprisal operations against the Empire.
