Person: GEN Anton "Ups" NelsLoading . . .
Medal: IBG Endor Citation
Date: October 5, 2005
Nominated by: GEN Chris Horn "Kicks"
Awarded by: GEN Anton "Ups" Nels
Reason for nomination: To the IBG Command Staff, for holding the IBG together and still being active to the fullest level. Anytime anyone goes to the #IBG these three seem to always be around. Anton is always making missions and fighting for first place on them even though he most times cant take home the medals. He is the IBG TO as well. Himm is just the same always right in the hunt for best pilot and will more than likely win another tour. How many times have those of us who have been here for any amount of time ever seen that from the IBG CO he also is always available for an MP flight or a LIC run. James is still leading a squad and at times has led two or more, he was the previous IBG TO and is also currently on the ITOD team. Due to these three the IBG has been held together longer than most would have ever dreamed. I salute you all "S" and hope that the IBG can always be led but such esteemed gentlemen and comrades regardless of where our ships end up. The requirements for this Citation is as follows: Awarded to a pilot that is active and participates in many IBG events. Also awarded for further contributions to the IBG. I think this does not say enough about the current leadership in the IBG, however it is the one that i have chosen to show some part of how good they have led this fleet.
