Person: BGN Joel LanceLoading . . .
Medal: RSCD Cross of Recau
Date: August 25, 2005
Nominated by: LCL Alextravia Grentarii
Awarded by: FA Super
Reason for nomination: Joel Lance. What can I say about you? The one who put me through more agony than anyone else. In context, that is. Joel, you were a leader in the Katarns, providing a plot when I had none, providing drama where there were only one-liners. All of us owe it to you that we lasted this far. I know you feel you contributed to our downfall, but that's not true. You made us great. As my character once wrote about you: "A brave man who always does all he can to make the galaxy a better place to live in. A man whose journey has been more intimate than anyone else’s, he is torn between his desire to train in the ways of the Jedi and his very real fear that he will be overcome by the dark side of the force. Joel is a good man, however, and I have faith in him that sometimes I think even he lacks. He could never succumb to the dark side, he just doesn’t have it in him. Now I just need to convince him of that." Thanks for everything, Joel.
