Reason for nomination: For leading the IBG through tough times and keeping us together while still being active himself and flying every mission (almost ever). He was also always among the top pilots for every mission and never accepting a medal for when he was one of the top three pilots. He was always about leading by example and about helping his squad and fellow wingmates fly well and to do their best. Himm supervised in mission making often getting involved directly in order to keep the fleet on track. Himm should be known as one of the best leaders ever for the IBG.
