▼ Briefing

The pirates who gave away the convoys location to the Imps are based in the Jardal system as you found when you followed the escaping FRG Xenesis.

The DREAD Resurrection and the INT Senate were dispatched a short time ago to destroy this base. The pirates were supposed to have only a few ships remaining after they attacked our fleet, but our estimates were badly wrong. The Resurrection has sent out a distress call reporting many more fighters and starships than we had expected. Both the DREAD and the INT are about to be attacked and the starfighters with them are being overwhelmed.

The ISD II Dashan will hyper to the area with X-W Wildcard and Y-W Draco and will assist the Resurrection and the Senate before helping to destroy the base. No pirate ships must escape - we can't let them give the Imperials more information on our fleet.

If any transport craft try to escape, B-W Nightwolf will launch to disable them. Help them out by taking down the shields of their targets. The Dashan will also position itself on the main exit vector from the system and will attempt to disable any craft which it can.

By the way, the 200kb picture limit is prohibitive. Is there any way for someone to maybe double that limit?

I think I remember doing this as an old historical mission way back before we had the mission database set up. Good mission, a bit difficult. I'll probably make a few more runs of it before the end of the reporting period.

I don't know what it is about this club and its fascination for the absurdly difficult. I mean I think I damaged my joystick's trigger from all the shooting. Seriously, it's seemingly impossible to evade 5 fighters all pounding away, no matter what the settings! I mean it sounds like a fun idea to have lots of targets and all, but those gunships throw a wrench into that. I mean with the way they shoot...Honestly?!

I kind of wish that the DREAD and INT would have a more helpful role also. Thinking about it, why were there no shields on the Rebel Fist, the Command Ship?

All I know is I have to rate this low, and I don't know what it is, but this is the first time I had a mission CRASH on me In-Flight! Now, I know I have a reputation for technology hating my guts, but this was absolutely awkward!
