Greetings, Members of the Rebel Squadrons. ":)

High Command has stood adjourned this past week, in accordance with the holiday season and the fact that many of its members have been on leave.

In other news, the Fleet Commander was approached this week by the Emperor's Hammer Lord Ambassador, Rear Admiral Quake, and his diplomatic team. After some discussion, it was made clear that the Emperor's Hammer wishes to reopen competitions with the Rebel Squadrons. After a quick vote in the Outer Rim Council, the participating clubs have voted to let the EH into the ORW. You will see them at the first ORW night of the new year.

In other news, Veterans Medals are still ready for nomination and awarding. The Medals Officer has been faithfully awarding the 1-2 year medals, and I have already awarded the first batch of 3-4 year requests. We'll continue with that until we are caught up to date, so get your medal request in!
