ORW Results NL: Week 11
Greetings fellow members of the RS. ":)
Welcome to the ORW Results NewsLetter for Week 11 and the Final Battle of the Dia Pas System. In this final confrontation in this sector of the Cadrel Expanse, the forces of the Emperor's Hammer were able to overwhelm all opposing forces and inflict enough significant damage to be declared the victors of the battle. But, Rebel Squadron forces were able to withstand these barrages long enough for the Imperial fleets to finally withdraw, and leave the RS as the victors of the war for the Dia Pas System! This gives the Rebel Squadrons possession of both the Titania System and the Dia Pas System...but the upcoming battles for the Elornia System promise to become much more bloody and hard-fought, now that the fleet's of the Emperor's Hammer are fully involved in the conflict...
With 139 matches played on Saturday, the ORW has continued to break it's own records. This was by far the most active ORW night to date and everyone that participated should be congratulated on a job well done. With all the problems going on with Undernet, we were forced to move the ORW to another IRC server, the InnerNET. Since it was such a smashing success, and since the Undernet still looks like it will continue to have problems, look for future announcements on whether next week's ORW will be held on the InnerNET or Undernet.

As one of the most veteran pilots in the RS, this pilot burst onto the ORW scene finally with 10 matches flown. Going an impressive 7-3 and earning himself two medals in the process, this week's ORW RSer of the Week is BGN Patrick "Blaster" Blastfire! Congrats!

Closing:
Now that the EH is in the ORW, we're going to need our more veteran pilots to show up to keep us as a front runner in the competition. The newer pilots have been holding their own and the ground pounders have been carrying us very well every week, but the "old" pilots that flew in the Minos Cluster conflict and the old OR Nights need to wipe the dust off their pilot suits and get back into their cockpits. You guys will be the key to our upcoming victories, so please represent us once again! You guys know who you are. :P
The Outer Rim War will only be as good as we make it, so show up and have some fun! Come next week, because there will always be plenty of Imperials to fight against! Also, please be civil and respectful, no matter what the circumstances. This club has principles, and we need to be an example to all the other clubs in the competition. As one of the most veteran pilots in the RS, this pilot burst onto the ORW scene finally with 10 matches flown. Going an impressive 7-3 and earning himself two medals in the process, this week's ORW RSer of the Week is BGN Patrick "Blaster" Blastfire! Congrats!

Now that the EH is in the ORW, we're going to need our more veteran pilots to show up to keep us as a front runner in the competition. The newer pilots have been holding their own and the ground pounders have been carrying us very well every week, but the "old" pilots that flew in the Minos Cluster conflict and the old OR Nights need to wipe the dust off their pilot suits and get back into their cockpits. You guys will be the key to our upcoming victories, so please represent us once again! You guys know who you are. :P
The Outer Rim War will only be as good as we make it, so show up and have some fun! Come next week, because there will always be plenty of Imperials to fight against! Also, please be civil and respectful, no matter what the circumstances. This club has principles, and we need to be an example to all the other clubs in the competition.
