Hello, everyone. Sorry this newsletter’s a little late – I’ve gotten addicted to a few new computer games I’ve bought (you have no idea how long it’s been since I’ve played a Might & Magic game). Enough about my addiction to PC games, though, on to the newsletter.

Fleet News ~
Mission is over, and has been over for a couple weeks. Thanks to everyone for sticking with it, and kudos goes out to our newest members who graduated during the mission. A great job was done by all.
Several squads in Backlash Wing have undertaken missions at the behest of various institutions, mostly New Republic Intelligence. For those of you who want to have a character with NRI, you need to contact me for clearance on it (otherwise, we could have some storyline issues). For everyone who’s not in a mission right now, there are two storylines upcoming for you to get involved with. Contact raptor27@hotmail.com (Bethan Leitbur/Becks Leitbur) for details on the "Return of Hammer" storyline and contact mikebullian@aol.com (Mike Bullian/Tyrin Drax) for details on the "Rescue of Mike Bullian (part 97)." The Return storyline has already kicked off and I am led to believe that the Rescue storyline kicks off shortly.
For everyone in Eclipse who hasn’t heard yet, Trystan Kel-Solan has stepped down from his position as Eclipse CO and has been replaced by General Janet Skyy ( cloud9@tanet.net ). Furthermore, plans are in the works for specialization in Eclipse, similar to that of Backlash. I won’t say much, but I will say that it involves a trip to Coruscant in the near future.
The new Aurora Force page is up, albeit incomplete. Our friends at RSI are responsible for what graphics will go up, but I’d like to see some images from fleet members as well, for those of you with a talent for graphics. We need some good commando shots, if possible. If anyone is interested in helping out with that project, e-mail klitzkee@student.gvsu.edu and we’ll brainstorm.
AFCS already got a heads-up on this, but Leif Nalpak is looking for a new AFACO. If you’re interested in the job, please contact klitzkee@student.gvsu.edu for more details.
Ground team medal votes are due on Sunday, to be released sometime next week (I hope).

Promotions ~
Yeah, I know. Everyone says it’s impossible to get promotions from me. Well, guess what?
Nothing’s impossible.
Major Trosa Aldair, front and center! You are hearby promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Commander.
Lieutenant Commander Bethan Leitbur, front and center! You are hearby promoted to the rank of full Commander.
Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Kerensky, front and center! You are hearby promoted to the rank of full Colonel.
Congratulations, gentlemen, and as we say on High Command, may God have mercy on your souls.

Violet Clusters go to:

That about wraps it up for this newsletter, since there’s nothing that’s come down the CoC today. Have a great weekend everyone!
