Greetings, Members of the RS. ":)
Its been some time since a High Command announcement has been released, but never fear, there is indeed a reason for that. High Command has been a quiet place this month for the most part, its members all enjoying a well-deserved silent repose.
One discussion has dominated the month of June, and that's about it. High Command has concluded that "cloning" (ie, one person joining the club multiple times) is illegal and an offense identifiable with cheating. Anybody found cloning will be dealt with accordingly. High Command also promulgated some ideas for dealing with possible clones. Leading off this list includes separating people who connect to the internet from the same computer into different squadrons within each fleet, to lessen the possibility of clones getting through. The enforcement of these measures, however, is up to the Fleet CO of each fleet.
I'd like to stress that the illegality of cloning is not a choice for the various fleets, that is a definite. But any measures designed to circumvent cloning are left to the decision of the Fleet CO for his/her fleet.
That's it for now, thanks for reading!
