Chiintal NL 7/3/01
Chiintal Pilots,
This is the first of many NL's for the wing,
Wing XO
My choice for XO Lieutenant Commander Ace Strife , he has done an excellent job as my XO when i was Dagger CO and has done excellent as my replacement. He also has plenty of ideas to spur you all along, to get you all participating and active in the IBG events.
Fleet ITOD
The Fleet ITOD is due the 10th of this month, RA Slate has made it an order for all members of the IBG to report on it. So, with that said, i expect all members of Chiintal to FLY IT,REPORT ON IT...ASAP
Wing ITOD
I'm going to be looking for an ITOD team for the Wing. Anyone with experience in making custom missions and interested in the development of a Wing ITOD, please email me so we can get this happening.
Web Sites
Squad IO's, I'll be going over the the squad pages making sure they are updated and current. I need to know who the IO for each of the Squads is and the current IO for the wing. When i'm done going over the pages, a list will be sent and i expect all the changes to be taken care of.
Training Nights
The IBG training nights or melee nights will be starting back up this month. I urge all pilots to show and have some fun.
Outer Rim Wars
Outer Rim Wars is now over and the RS is victorious. Check out all the details on the Outer Rim web site...www.rebelsquadrons.org/outerrim/ My congrats to all the pilots who participated in the event.
Domination League
the Domination League will be starting again, since ORW is done. I expect all member to participate in the event. For details check out the web site: http://www.rebelsquadrons.org/ibg/DL/
Chiintal Wing Campaign
I'm going to start a campaign battle for a mock system between the squads of Chiintal. It will be similiar to the campaign run by the RgF. It will entail squad movements and battles for systems. you will purchase ships depending on Squad funds available and when a battle commences, only ships available will be used. Its an ongoing MP battle between squads and is lots of fun. Keep an eye for further details. It should be ready to go by the beginning of August.... I Hope... :P

I will be talking to the Titan Wing CO and trying to setup a inter-wing melee for the squads. It should hopefully be ready to go by the middle of this month. It will entail squads of Chiintal vs squads of Titan. I will be coordinating a schedule with the Titan CO soon. Its another event for all of you to keep your flying skills sharp.

Parting Comments
You all joined the IBG to partake in the fun... be it in the custom missions, the DL, ORW, etc... seems as though very few members partake in the events. I will continue to urge all pilots to please take the time and enjoy these events. Its what makes the IBG what it is and what it will become... by your participation and enjoyment. So if anyone has any ideas on how to better Chiintal, IBG or even the RS, please don't hesitate to forward your ideas up the CoC.
