This will actually be a real quick NL. There isn't a whole lot to get out to everyone.
-The RFI is out and working. Trate already sent out info on this so look that up (Trate, put it on the BBS if you haven't already).
-The October ITOD is over and tallied. The Top Ace of the Month is a brand new RgFer, who only recently came in. This person is none other than LCM Brian Nethan with 82,700 points through 31 kills, yikes!!! And out of the top 6 spots, 5 are Ragnorak. Good going guys. Glad I'm in there to break up the streak :). The top squad of the month is none other than Ragnorak with 307K and 100 kills, over double the next squad RDS. Nice job boys and girls. You have a winning streak going, keep it up. Those that participated in Rag will recieve the top squad medal.
Now on to the news!!!
-We have some new command changes to report. To devote more time to the RgF Command Trate has decided to step down as Twilight CO and has chosen Captain Kale Petosky to succede him there. I along with Trate have been observing this up and coming squad leader and he has performed far beyond my expectations. You are free to blush, Mr. Petosky. Keep it up and you'll have some promotions on the way :).
-We lost two pilots within the last week due to a lack of time. We're already very short on personel and any loss affects us so encourage all your pilots to be active, and don't be afraid to recruit.
-Now that the RFI is running we're going to start something that worked in the past under Ironman, for those of you who had the pleasure. It's called The Squad Battles. The way it works is in each bi-weekly NL I will announce the names of squads to battle and those squads will have the following two weeks to arrange a time to battle it out. This counts for merit points so I would encourage involvement. The battle will last 2 hours and the squad with the most points wins. The squad that wins will recieve 5 extra merit points each (for participants). And all other participants will recieve merit points in RFI. I hope I made that as clear as possible. Use standard ORW rules and fly in the #RgF room. The battles for this week are:
RDS vs Ragnorak
Jedi vs Twilight
Dragon vs Rza
You have until the 25th this time to get these matches done. All results (inlcuding a listing of matches) go to myself and Trate. Let's get out there and fly. If you need help let me know.
-As a quick closing remark if you select the RgF as your primary fleet I expect nothing but 100% effort out of you to get things done.
