Hope Wing NL, November 5th 2001
On the Calamari Cruiser Windstorm, home of Hope Wing, the protocol droid C6P07 appears on the holoscreens and delivers his traditionnal speech, "Pilots, may I have your attention please, Major Vrei'Sik is about to give his bi-weekly debriefing...".
Welcome, members of Hope Wing, to this fifth edition of your favorite wing's newsletter. Sorry for the week long delay, I've been quite tied up lately. It has been a month now so this NL will be packed with interesting stuff, buckle up, here it goes...
News from the Patriot Battle Fleet
1. PBF309
The final results can be viewed at http://www.rebelsquadrons.org/roster/itod.php3?id=1.
For this mission, Hope Wing had a total of 13 reports, not bad since it is almost the best show up in PBF but not good since the overall activity of the PBF is quite low. I know we can do much better. My short term goal (for 310) is a 60% participation rate, I know the pilots in this wing can be active so let's prove it!
So, on with the numbers:
With 13 reports out of 30 pilots (43% participation), we finished 2nd wing in PBF for the second time in a row, and this thanks to Green squadron, with an incredible performance again.
Green had 8 out of 11 (72%) reports and finshed 2nd squad in PBF, congrats!
Fireclaw had 4 out of 9 (44%) reports, not very good considering their past. So for next mission, let's hope for 6 reports from Fireclaw!
Phoenix got 1 out of 10 (10%) reports, a pitiful show up. A fion for an entire squadron, it's the first time I see something like that. Shake up guys, Hope Wing needs you! At least Jae-Keito reported and won the PBF MRM, congrats! You should have sent it to me, you could have won the Hope Wing MRM.
2. PBF 310
The mission is out! Get to your ships and save frigate Rebel Vengeance from almost certain doom. The deadline is probably November 14th.

A legend is back! Brigadier General Alvan Sirkoth is back in Green squadron.
Major Jaq has also joined Green squadron.

Dev Azzameen has been promoted to second lieutenant!
Licah Fox has been promoted to second lieutenant!
Arglide Airwalker has been promoted to first lieutenant!

to your signoff!
Hope Wing mission report medal: None

5. Hope Wing Command
I am pleased to announce that Captain Kass Hunter, retired Hope Wing CO, has been assigned the Hope Wing SO spot. I am confident he will bring to our fleet some fresh ideas and promote activity. Congrats Kass!
6. Inter-fleet Wing competition
No new developments concerning this competition, mainly because Sentinel Wing command is not very responsive.
7. Wing ITOD
The first two missions for the Hope Wing ITOD are under testing. The ITOD will hopefully start on December 1st and will be a monthly competition, like the PBF.
8. Website
