High Command NewsFlash 12/17/01

High Command is currently discussing various ideas ranging from the previous uniforms suggestion, to a concept of uniform fleet pages where fleets would take a set template with several color options and base their site upon that to give the RS a more "unified" web appearence.

Coinciding with the fleet template idea Former RSCD XO, Lieutenant General Remarda "Python" Jundun and I have been looking at a way to impliment that while creating a new file format (.rs is the current extension idea) that will allow pages on the domain to use dynamic content from the roster database with special static html tags that we're calling RS Tags (for example showing the fleet command staff or the whole roster for a fleet/wing/squad with one line of html like ). This idea is still in it's infancy but looks very promising.

Feel free to direct suggestions or concerns to RSFC Rahj Tharen (fc@rebelsquadrons.org) and RSXO Shikkie Kaaran(rsxo@rebelsquadrons.org) for consideration and possible proposal of the idea to High Command.
