The Rebel Squadrons had another strong showing in last week's XWA WoW. We finished in 12th place out of 36 clubs. In addition to this, there were a number of solid performances turned in by RSers. Check below for the results...

INDIVIDUAL SCORES

This time around there were a number of individual performances that stood out for the RS. The RS set a personal best with placing 5 players in the Top 50 overall player ranking. Finishing in 48th place was 2LT Chrys Cortan. MGN Spokes finshed in 41st place, while MAJ Chris Horn finished in 28th place. The RS' top 2 finishers were CMDR Licah Fox and LCL Han "Nate" Suul. Licah finished with a 23-15 record, had a 1.53 game W/L ratio, a 1.19 player W/L ratio, and a 1.03 kill/death ratio. Nate on the other hand had a 12-5 record, a 2.40 game W/L ratio, a 2.11 player W/L ratio, and a k/d ratio of 1.18. Licah finished in 16th place overall, which would have been the best individual ranking for any RS player in a WoW, but Nate bettered him by 2 spots and finished in 14th place overall, taking yet another RS WoW record with him.

Now on to everyone's favorite part...

For extreme activity in the XWA WoW XL, the following people are hereby nominated for the Valiance Combat Citation:

For never giving up and showing great durability to keep on fighting, despite the odds against them, the following person is hereby nominated for the Violet Cluster:

For considerable accomplishment in battle, the following person is hereby nominated for the RS Combat Medal:

MAJ Chris Horn

For leading the way in this WoW and kicking ass in the name of the RS, the following two people are hereby nominated for the RS' second highest combat medal, the Alliance Dagger.

For all participants, RS merit point will be awarded. This includes 6 different people. As usual, it will be one point awarded for playing a match, and one point for winning.

CONCLUSION

This was one of our stronger showings in a WoW. We had 5 people place in the Top 50, but our club ranking was down 2 spots from last time, because those 5 people didn't have any other help. So basically, I want to see more participation in this event. Get out and fly, I assure you, you have nothing to lose. You will only get better, and when you finally get to that point where you can dominate...its a great feeling.
