RSCD NL 09-05-02 (Part 2)

As promised, here’s the second half for the latest edition of the NL. As I said earlier, each NL from now on will be broken up into two parts, one for Fleet news, and another for awards, merit points and the like. I’ve got a few of each to hand out this time, so let’s get right to it.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Awards-

For once again participating in the greatest number of melee matches during the month of August, Lt. Col. Isoldur "Dragon" Cauthon has been awarded the RSCD Hoth Medal of Endeavor.

For amassing the greatest number of total wins in combat during the month of August, the RSCD Bronze Star has been awarded to VA Kaz Falcion.

Remember, both of these medals are up for grabs each and every month. For those who aren’t clear, the HmoE will go to the commando or jedi who participates in the greatest number of melee matches during the month. (Not counting Inter-Club events). The Bronze Star will be awarded to the member who accumulates the greatest number of wins during the month. Both recipients were repeats for August, so let’s try and see a little change by the time the end of September rolls around.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Merit Points-

The following is a list of merit points and House ranks obtained by members in the month of August.

House Kalran-

Lt. Col. Isoldur "Dragon" Cauthon – 7 [Initiate]
2Lt. Creelo Ne'Raki – 5 [Recruit]
MGN Wes Belden – 5 [Initiate]

House Dragoth-

MGN Harley Quinn – 5 [Recruit]

For those curious about the majority of 5s on that list, I awarded 5 merit points to the people who responded to the closing paragraph in the last edition of the NL. The way the new system is designed, you’ll never know when a chance to earn a few points will show up, so it pays to stay alert. It may not seem like it now, but House Ranks will play an important part in things for the future, so trying to achieve them early is a good idea.
