Greeting Members ":)

The RS had a decent showing at last week's JO WoW V. Due to the efforts of a few people, we were ranked 8th overall. However, participation from the RS was down in this event, which is suprising, becuase that is usually one of our main strengths in any WoW competition.

Despite this fact, there were a ton of matches and clubs in this event, as the competition was out in force. This is a very active WoW event, and some of the best players in the world play, so if you are interested in having fun and getting better in JO, then you need to participate in this WoW.

As always, the results follow...

INDIVIDUAL SCORES

The RS had two outstanding efforts from ADM Rahj Tharen and LCL Isoldur "Dragon" Cauthon. Rahj finished ranked 20th overall with a 14-4 record with a rating of 61.40. His Game W/L ratio was 3.50 and his Player W/L was 2.71. Each of these statistics are outstanding and both would have been RS records in a WoW competition, but he was bettered by Dragon. Dragon finished 8th overall, the first time an RSer has been able to crack the top ten in a WoW event. He did this with a 25-7 record, a Game W/L ratio of 3.57, a Player W/L ratio of 3.80. This all added up to a 79.82 rating. All of these numbers are new RS WoW records. Keep in mind that 144 people played in this event.

Congratulations to you both, you had outstanding performances.

AWARDS

Now on to everyone's favorite part...

For considerable accomplishment in battle, the following person is hereby nominated for the RS Combat Medal:

ADM Rahj Tharen

For leading the way in this WoW and kicking ass in the name of the RS, the following person is hereby nominated for the RS' second highest combat medal, the Alliance Dagger.

LCL Isoldur "Dragon" Cauthon

For all participants, RS merit point will be awarded. This includes 6 different people. As usual, it will be one point awarded for playing a match, and one point for winning.

Congratulations to you all on a job well done!

====================
CONCLUSION

The RS finished with its higest ever Game and Player W/L ratios in this event. The former was 2.86, while the latter was 2.90. The thing that hurt us the most was the activity ratings. We were dead last in players and matches (of the rated clubs). We could have easily finished in the Top 5 Clubs if we had more players and matches. So if you have JO, I encourage you to participate in this event next month.

So, until next time, lock and load and get out and practice!
