Last weekend's Inter-Club Melee turned into the RS vs Simon Melee, as evidenced by the results. Once again, there was a strong showing from the RS, which I am proud of. There were a lot of JO matches played and everyone there had a good time kicking Simon's ass, who was nice enough to play everyone.

The overall scoring for the competion works like this:
1 pt for a match played
1 pt for a victory

This way, even if you lose you can help your club earn points.

MELEE INFO

For those of you who were unaware, the Inter-Club Melee is held every Saturday, from 2-7 pm EST in channel #OuterRim on the Undernet. Jedi Outcast, X-Wing Alliance, and X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter will all be supported. Come next week to support the RS!

RULES

For now, the rules from the last ORW (http://www.rebelsquadrons.org/outerrim/rules.htm) should serve as the general guideline for any rules for this event, but the most important one is to use good judgment.

For JK2 matches: 10 minutes, highest score wins.
For XWA and XvT matches: 10 minutes or 5/5, highest total score wins.

CONCLUSION

As always, I have one main message for everyone. MP gaming is on the rise in the RS. Make sure that you are apart of this fact. Practice, play, and compete as much as you can. We're on the right path, but there is still a lot of work yet to be done. ORW II is on the horizon and it will be huge.
