Since this is the first NL of the new year... HAPPY NEW YEAR! I'm excited about all that we are accomplishing right now and know that this will be an incredible year for the Academy. Just remember: there is a direct correlation between how well the academy functions and how well the rest of the RS functions. Doing our jobs to the best of our ability ensures new life for the RS for years to come! This is why we try to get the best instructors possible to teach our new cadets and why the Academy is the most active fleet in the RS!

CO Staff Changes:

- Commander Tech Krill is the new Undergraduate Division CO, congrats Tech!

- MGN Lamin Zykara is the new RSCD ROC CO, welcome!

- Captain Bonaparte is now CO of the X-Wing COMTACS, have fun!

UG Reports:

Be sure to send periodic updates to the UGCO, Tech. I need the number of cadets you graduated last month, the number of total cadets, and the number of new cadets this month ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, get Tech whatever he wants...I'm sure he's e-mailed you by now with his reporting procedures.

Websites:

All departments need to be updating their websites regularly!!!! This includes all undergrad and postgrad units. Assign an IO if you, the CO, do not have time to do this yourself. WE HAVE BEEN SLACKING MAJORLY IN THIS AREA, I WILL BE CRACKING DOWN ON OUT-OF-DATE AND DISFUNCTIONAL WEBSITES.

Misc:

       I NEED MORE RECCOMENDATIONS FOR MEDALS AND AWARDS, I'M SURE PEOPLE ARE WORKING BUT THEIR CO'S AREN'T RELAYING THAT INFORMATION UP THE CHAIN OF COMMAND.

- Instructors Needed

Instructors are being sought for the 'STC,' 'RSCD,' and the 'XWA' academies. Visit the roster page and e-mail their CO's if you are interested.

- Internet Officers Needed

IOs are also needed in all divisions. Contact Major Mystic, RSAXO/IO if you are interested.

Major Mystic Warrior, you are promoted to the rank of Lt. Commander effective immediatly for your superb performance as RS Academy XO/IO. Congrats! Drinks on Mystic!

Lt. Colonel Chris Earthkeeper, for your amazing devotion to the RS Academy, filling in as RSCD ROC CO, and many other reasons, I herby promote you to the rank of full Colonel. Congrats! This promotion was also reccomended to me by the RgF CO....FYI ;).

Captain Wunderlind, for your work as PGCO I promote you to the rank of Major, congrats!
