Also known as the TUG is not dead as we have seen since we got a few new members recently. This is all thanks to it's interim CO BGN Face Loran and his dedicated staff of instructors. Unfortunately Face took the job temporarily just to bring it back to life. I have been informed by the Academy Command Staff that he is waiting to be replaced. This is an Easy yet very important job. 7.08 Narrative - by: LGN Corran Horn Jr.

Corran looked out his view port as the Prometheus entered hyperspace. He has always found traveling in hyperspace to be quite relaxful. He was reminded of this fact as his thoughts were interrupted by the knock on his door. He turned around and admitted whom ever was at the door. Colonel Katran threw a quick salute to the General Horn as he entered and took a seat. He started going over crew evaluations which were now overdue and should have been finished while at Zephryn but with all the attacks they never got a chance to go over it. When they finally finished Corran looked at his chronometer. "We're almost at (system) system. We'd better get up to the Bridge."
Corran look a seat and started looking over some information and Intel on the system. According to reports there were some convoys attacked here and most of the people in Zephryn dismissed it to some small time Pirates. But as Corran read the report he decided that it wasn't pirates but probably a small group Imperials and they probably knew where the main force and it's leader were. He had all pilots on standby and some of the best Splices he ever saw ready to hack into enemy databases to try and take whatever information they could get from them on the escaping Imperial Forces.
The Prometheus dropped out of hyperspace and Corran was partially right, they weren't pirates, but they weren't a small force, but the main force of the retreating Imperials. And they were waiting for the Prometheus. Just as Corran ordered battle stations a transmission came in from the lead Star Destroyer.
"Why, its my old friend Corran, how nice to see you again"
Corran gave a look of surprise and then tried to regain, his composure. "Admiral Darwin, I thought you dead."
"Our last battle left me beat and I was almost dead but one of my transports managed to pick me up before the cold vacuum of space left did kill me. And By the way it Admiral Darwinier now.
Corran cut off the transmission and brought up the fighters Battle frequencies. "This General Horn to all fighters. Be ready for surprises, we're facing a very knowledgeable and Devious enemy."
"Your right Corran, I am a very knowledgeable and devious, and I have all of your battle frequencies so you might as well surrender and save yourselves."
"Never Darwinier. All forces, lets incinerate them!

"Each member of the Retribution Fleet must either report on either the current Fleet Mission or their current Wing or Squadron mission for the month. (just narratives or reports of zero are acceptable) or participate in the run-on for the current fleet mission or the squadron CO will mark that member AWOL. IF marked AWOL two months in a row for this reason the member may be removed from the squadrons roster with permission from the Fleet CO"

- R2F Intel
R2F Intel is the special Projects/Think Tank group of the R2F. They are looking for anyone who would like to help improve the R2F. You do not need any special skills to join. There current project is working on the R2F shipyards. They are creating crew members and squadrons attached to ships. This project happens to be a project dealing with the fictional side of the R2F. There will be other projects dealing with real things like a Free Mission system. If oyur interested in joining contact LCM Dev Azzameen


- Recruitment
Recruit, Recruit, Recruit. The R2F can only survive if we get members. How can we get members, well that is easy. All you have to is tell your friends to go out and get a copy of Tie Fighter (it's cheep, like $10) and sign up. Let them know it is a great game and that they will enjoy the fellowship of joining us here in the Retribution Fleet. Also, go to message boards and post something about the Retribution fleet. Let people know we exist and urge them to give it a try. I mean hey, you enjoy it, So they will probably enjoy it, so lets spread the joy around and keep our ranks growing.
Just incase you are not aware there are many rewards and benefits you can enjoy if you help to recruit new members to the R2F.
