MASTER/APPRENTICE SYSTEM
http://www.rebelsquadrons.org/rscd/masterapprentice.php

Jedi Knights and Jedi Masters may take on an Apprentice (anyone of Padawan or Jedi Adept rank), but are only limited to one at a time. As such, it is the responsibility of the Knight or Master to oversee and foster the advancement of their chosen Apprentice. The Apprentice, in turn, must be willing to work since Padawans and Adepts must have a Master to advance to the next rank. The following is the list of current Master and Apprentice Pairings:

• Jedi Master Rahj Tharen: Jedi Adept Doth Raandu.
• Jedi Master Kaz Falcion: Padawan Dan Qal Strum.
• Jedi Master Boid "Gambit" Reaves: None.
• Jedi Knight Isoldur "Dragon" Cauthon: None.
• Jedi Knight Patrick "Blaster" Blastfire: None.
• Jedi Knight Richard Gross: None.

MASTER AND APPRENTICE GUIDELINES
http://www.rebelsquadrons.org/rscd/masterapprentice.php

• Primary Responsibilities: The primary responsibility of the Master is to oversee the development of their chosen Apprentice in gaming skill, leadership cultivation, and knowledge of the Jedi Order and the Force. The Master should provide a support base for their Apprentice, be an example, and attempt to help them when appropriate. Apprentices, in turn, are expected to work at improving these aspects and grow to the extent of their abilities. These guidelines are geared towards fostering the Apprentice's advancement to Jedi Knight as quickly and appropriately as possible.

• Secondary Responsibilities: Secondary responsibilities include role-playing the parts of a teacher and student as a Master and Apprentice would in the Star Wars universe. Also, developing a friendly relationship within this partnership is highly encouraged. It is hoped that the Apprentice will one day be in the role of a Master and pass on these teachings to the next generation of Padawans.

Padawan Kyle Tobarn still needs to seek a Master in order to advance further. Current Knights and Masers, in turn, need to start seeking Apprentices.

RECENT RANK ELEVATIONS

No Initiates have recently been initiated into the Jedi Order. Initiates of the Order are those that may have Force potential and are interested in pursuing the life and ideals of a Jedi.

Initiates Dan Qal Strom and Kyle Tobarn have recently met the requirements of Padawan and have advanced to this rank. To become a Padawan means to fully enter the Jedi Order. These are Force sensitive beings that have been chosen to join, learn, and train within the Jedi ranks.

Padawan Doth Raandu has met the requirements of Jedi Adept with great vigor based on recent ORWII, RSCD DL, and Jedi Outcast Week of War performances. The most skilled Padawans move on to become Jedi Adepts. Advanced teachings and training in the Jedi arts and way of life are revealed to prepare the Adept for the Trial to knighthood.

HOW DOES ONE ENTER THE JEDI ORDER?

MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION
http://www.rebelsquadrons.org/rscd/jediranks.php

• Jedi Knights or Masters can choose their own Apprentice (anyone of Padawan or Jedi Adept rank), but are only limited to one at a time.
• It is the responsibility of the Knight or Master to oversee and foster the advancement of their chosen Apprentice. The Apprentice, in turn, must be willing to work.
• Padawans and Adepts must have a Master (a Jedi Knight or Jedi Master teacher) to advance to the next rank.
• The Jedi Trials must be passed in order to achieve the rank of Jedi Knight. The Trials should consist of a series of multiplayer engagements against various active Jedi Knights and Jedi Masters, including their own Master.
• A "RSCD related match" refers to any JK or JO match played in an official RSCD or RS event. This includes club vs. club matches.
• A "club vs. club victory" refers to any JK or JO match played against a club member outside of the Rebel Squadrons in an official RSCD or RS event.
• A "contribution to the RSCD" is a guideline, but tangible work contributions should increase with each rank. For instance, a Padwan should be contributing in a minor leadership position (IE, Squad Command Staff) or some kind of important support position (IE, Internet Officer, Melee Officer, RSCD ITOD leader, etc). In turn, it is intended that Jedi Adapts should have proven themselves to contribute at the Company level and Jedi Knights at the Fleet level.
• The use of good judgment remains the most important guideline.
