Logistics Office and Operations Office News
Greetings Members of the Rebel Squadrons,
Recently, there have been a number of personnel shifts and restructuring efforts within the Rebel Squadrons Executive Staff. As a result, I wanted to inform the club about two new and exciting developments:
First, the Rebel Squadrons Logistics Office is now officially established and is open for business! A website has been created at http://www.rebelsquadrons.org/lo/. Accordingly, Admiral Kaz Falcion will be serving as the first Rebel Squadrons Logistics Officer and Major General Alexander Kerensky as the Deputy Logistics Officer. Fleet Admiral Dave Trebonious-Astoris will also continue to serve as the Rebel Squadrons Historical Officer, but attached to the Logistics Office through the Historical Directorate.
As the newest Executive Office, the Logistics Office will strive to emphasize and strengthen the fictional fibers of the Rebel Squadrons. As a result, the Logistics Office will oversee and sustain the RS’ fictional needs such as maintaining the RS Order of Battle, the RS Planets Database, and doing everything it can to encourage the fictional storylines found throughout the Rebel Squadrons to follow a unified RS and Star Wars fictional continuity. Furthermore, this Office has absorbed the past responsibilities of the Office of Historical Records by maintaining the non-fictional history of the RS, as well as preserving and advancing the fictional history and timeline of the club as a whole. With that said, the LO is here to aid in creating a better atmosphere for authors and mission designers alike. Therefore, if you ever have a question regarding official RS fiction, simply contact the Logistics Officer at lo@rebelsquadrons.org.
Second, I have recently made a number of new appointments to the Rebel Squadrons Operations Office. They are as follows:
RS Operations Officer: Lieutenant General Harely "Jester" Quinn
RS Deputy OO: Captain Daryus Zalyn'cya
RS Deputy OO: 1st Lieutenant Nicholas Kelric
Accordingly, please allow the new Operations Office Staff to get settled into their positions. Over the course of the next month, they will work towards getting the appropriate RS Merits and RS combat awards updated and awarded from the past month’s Week of War competitions. In the meantime, please continue to show patience. Also, congratulations to each of the officers and their new appointments!
That wraps this brief update up. For those of you that are interested, the position of Rebel Squadrons Internet Officer remains open.
May the Force be with you and may the pride and honor of the Rebel Squadrons carry on in all of you!
":)
