New IBG CO Sought
Members of the Intrepid Battle Group,
As you are all hopefully aware at this point, Brigadier General Gabrich Varmer has resigned from the position of Intrepid Battle Group Commanding Officer due to real life time constraints. As a result, I wanted to personally thank him for his service and dedication to the Intrepid Battle Group over the past year. I think it speaks extremely highly of BGN Varmer’s dedication and love for the IBG to be able to make such a difficult decision. As a result, I would like to further thank him for this outstanding example.
Accordingly, Lieutenant General Garrik "Face" Loran will temporarily serve as Acting Intrepid Battle Group Commanding Officer until a replacement can be fully appointed. Therefore, please also consider this announcement an official call for applications for the position of IBG Commanding Officer.
For those of you that may be interested in the position, please send a formal application to General Tyrell "Spokes" Borran (spokes1@mindspring.com), RS XO, and I (fc@rebelsquadrons.org) with the following information…
Specifically, any Fleet Commanding Officer will need adequate leadership, administrative, communication, internet, and innovative skills. As a result, please be able to demonstrate how you have fulfilled these requirements in your RS career, what you can bring to the position, why you are the best choice over all others, and any future projects you can present to benefit the RS and the Intrepid Battle Group. Please also include basic information about past RS positions, accomplishments, time in service, and list any RS personal references.
As one of the most important posts in the Rebel Squadrons, this level of RS leadership is of the highest echelon and comes with great reward, potential, and opportunity. Any questions about the position may also be directed to me.
