RS Medals Announcement
Members of the Rebel Squadrons,
This announcement is twofold. First, the Rebel Squadrons Medals System is back online. All medal nominations may be made at http://www.rebelsquadrons.org/roster/medals.nominate.php on the RS Roster Database. Accordingly, all medal nominations may once again recommence. Any problems with the new system should be brought to the Internet Office’s attention at io@rebelsquadrons.org or logged as a support call at http://www.rebelsquadrons.org/io/logcall.php.
I would also like to request that those of you that have been awarded medals during the downtime of this recoding process to resubmit these nominations for proper processing. Please provide the date awarded and the reasoning for the nomination. These resubmissions will be awarded accordingly.
Second, the position of Rebel Squadrons Medals Officer has become vacant. Due to real life time constraints Lieutenant General Ben Jynzer has retired from the position after almost three years of distinguished and extended service. As a result, LGN Jynzer has been awarded the Distinguished Service Cross for his many contributions and accomplishments.
Consequently, the position is now open to applications. For those of you that may be interested in the position, please send a formal application to General Tyrell "Spokes" Borran (spokes1@mindspring.com), RS XO, and I (fc@rebelsquadrons.org) with the following information…
Specifically, the Medals Officer will need adequate administrative, communication, graphic, and internet skills. As a result, please be able to demonstrate how you have fulfilled these requirements in your RS career, what you can bring to the position, why you are the best choice over all others, and any future projects you can present to benefit the RS and the Medals Office. Please also include basic information about past RS positions, accomplishments, time in service, and list any RS personal references. Please keep in mind that those with graphical skills would be best suited for the position, but not required.
As one of the most important posts in the Rebel Squadrons, this level of RS leadership is of the highest echelon and comes with great reward, potential, and opportunity. Any questions about the position may also be directed to me (fc@rebelsquadrons.org).
Respectfully submitted,
":)
