Greetings Members of the Rebel Squadrons,

For those of you who do not know me, my name is Gavin Kravis, formerly the Commanding Officer of the Renegade Fleet, and as of today your new Fleet Commander. I've been a member of this club since February of 1998 and have been in three fleets: The RgF, AF, and Academy; as well as two Executive Offices: DOIA (two occasions) and the PDD (now a defunct department). Even with this experience, and the assistance that I hope to recieve from the past Fleet Commanders I will be deriving much of the help to run this club from you, the membership. Because, honestly, without all of you there is no club.

I'm going to keep this first email short and to the point, as I'm not asking for any applications, or policy changes, or anything of the like yet. I want you all to know that the next couple of weeks are going to be a transition period in which I'll be getting settled into the office, and getting my staff locked down, etc. So, don't expect to start a new Outer Rim War next week just because I took over. However, my door is open, if you have any questions, comments, or concerns. I want to talk to you and know if something is bothering you, so please feel free to come and talk to me.

There will be some differences in how things are handled between the last FC's tenure and mine, but keep in mind that I'm here to make sure that all of you can have fun. That's what my focus is, and that's what it will always be. So if I say or do something that doesn't make sense to you, or seems like I'm cracking down on someone, etc come ask me, and I will be happy to help you to understand my reasoning.

I am looking forward to what I can do to help this club grow and prosper, and above all else have a great time. We're all here to have fun, keep that in mind .

Respectfully Submitted,
~Gavin C. Kravis
