IBG ITOD 404 Special Version: Flying with Spokes
Pilots,
There\'s still two weeks to the current mission is due, and a good number of reports are in already. The fight for the top spot is hard, and I think we haven\'t seen the end of it yet.
Anyway, I have the pleasure of announcing something special. We now have available a SPECIAL EDITION of the current mission. As you\'ll see from the score board, Spokes has already flown mission 404, and we\'ve managed to reconstruct his flight from his navicomp and flight recorders. This reconstruction is now available for download from the ITOD files page. Go get it, and enjoy this extremely rare chance of getting inside the cockpit of one of our real veterans. What is it like to be one of the absolute top pilots, not only in the IBG, but in the whole RS?
I\'ll make a special thread on the ITOD message board for reports on this mission. Please post your reports in this thread, and NOT as new threads. Reports on this special version of 404 will not count against the regular ITOD scores. Every pilot reporting will get 1 merit point.
This mission is intended to be for the fun of it. It is made it for flying in the X-wing, and without using the Beam. I recommend a setup like that to get the most out of it, but you\'re of course free to fly as you like :) The mission is tested many times, so I hope it will run nice.
