Greetings RSers!

Here's a rundown of the subjects that I will be touching on in this NL.

1. Battlefront II
2. Battlefront
3. Republic Commando
4. Division/Platoon Status

1. Battlefront II
- Early this month, the newest installment of the Battlefront series was released by Lucas Arts. There has been a lot of excitement surrounding this new game, and for good reason. By all accounts, this is a great game!

We have had some new members join us, excited to get playing. That's great! 1Lt Graff Starkiller (gstarkiller on xfire) has begun to organize some melee nights, and there is an upcoming competition being hosted by Ecliptical Realms (see the Jedi and Commando Division area of the RS forums for details on how to sign up). Join the action!

2. Battlefront
- We had three competitions this month, Week of War VIII (hosted by Battlestats.com), Mod Map Offline Competition 2.3, and Battleweek 12 (hosted by Ecliptical Realms). WoW saw only 14 games played by RS members, MMOC participation dipped slightly to 5 reports, and we only managed to play 20 games in BW. Full results can be found on the forums.

I plan to keep playing this game, even after I (eventually) buy SWBFII. I am hoping to have more commandos join me in competition next month. Look for me on xfire, add username primlar.

3. Republic Commando
- As of right now, we are supporting this game in name only. There was an event hosted by ER this month, and none of our members participated. If you are interrested in playing RC, please contact CPT Devara Nomobgo, either on the forums or via xfire (devara).

4. Division/Platoon Status
- We made a significant move regarding the structure of the RSCD this month, moving from fleet to wing status, and splitting from the Jedi. The new Commando Division roster is now located in Redemption Fleet, although we retain our own forum area, medals, and merit system. We've added two new platoons, Cronos and Alathera.

The move has not been without its wrinkles, as we are still trying to solve some minor issues with medals and promotions. We were unable to add new members to the merits table, and some of the abilities of the command staff have been temporarily reduced. Rest assured, we are working on the problems, and will have these situations resolved very soon.

As always, if you have any questions please email me: primlar@gmail.com
