1) Galaxy Week I
The Galaxy Week finished with the RS and with Michael Raven in first places! The first place for the RS was earned by Raven, Cyrel Vandroth and Super. Thank you gentlemen for your effort! Out of 40 rated players, Cyrel finished 10th and Super 12th. The player details are as follows.

Special congratulations to LGN Raven! Your dominant participation was awesome. Not only you played most matches of all players, but you also managed to win each and every match. I hope you won't get bored by your winning streams... :-P

Although it is very sweet that the RS finished in 1st place, it would have been cool if we had more participating players in GW. For the next events remember that participation is what counts! 1st places in club rating are great and all, but the main reason for my effort I am doing for the RID is to get as many players as possible active, not only the best ones. Besides, you won't get a better player without participating in multiplayer events.

2) Space Training Event
The STE was two weeks prior the GW1. Most matches were played by Michael Raven. The details are as follows:

The RID merits for both events (GW+STE) have been updated and can be checked in the appropriate thread. The RS merits should get updated soon.

3) Invasion Week III
The IW3 starts in about two weeks on Friday 13th Ocober and it will end 19th Oct. (You can start playing in it on the 14th if you have a problem with the 13th ;).

The event is as always hosted by www.eclipticalrealms.com . You need to be signed up there to be able to participate. Remember that this event is land battle only.

4) Land Training Event
To reward those players that might prepare a bit for the IW3, we will have an internal Land Training Event. This event will start right now and it will end 12th Oct. Every player receives 2 RID merits and 1 RS merit for each match played.
LTE Rules:
-A.I.: Off
-Starting Credits:4000
-Victory Condition: Destroy Enemy Command Center
-Heroes: Off
-Free Starting Unit: On
-Super Weapons: On
-Land maps only
-Each map should be played twice with players changing factions.
-1v1s, 2v2s, 3v3s and 4v4s may be played.
-Matches may be arranged via Xfire, IRC (channel #RID) or Teamspeak.
-Matches will be reported by sending a screenshot of the destroyed command center for each match to DaLe. (No .bmp files please.)

5) 1v1 ladder
The second round of the RID 1v1 ladder is up and running. Feel free to get matches in for it anytime. The 2nd round ends 31st October.

6) ITOD 003
The ITOD 003 mission is due 23rd October.
