ORW III Battle 5 Results and News
Greetings fellow RS members.
Battle 5 of Outer Rim War 3: The Subterrel Conflict has concluded. While there were a significant number of matches played for the Rebel side, we only managed a second place finish behind the Sith. Enough of that for now, looking over the results I can say with relative pride that overall we have the highest win-loss percentage of any club out there currently, so give yourselves a pat on the back. JO reestablished itself as a major game, but surprisingly BF I and II had an astounding showing, which is unfortunate since our primary BF I and II players were strikingly absent from the competition. Anyway enough of that, TO THE RESULTS!
The winning faction in Battle 4 was the Sith Faction, setting an amazing pace with 1,776 points. The Rebel faction came in second with 1,500.5 points (Though I might add at one point we had 1337 points, which should have automatically given us the win) with the Imperials trailing behind with a score of 1,122.5 points. The RS as a club managed to garner 758 points, just over half the faction total, with the New Republic 5th Fleet supporting us stalwartly with 696.5. To see the results sheet, please visit the ORW3 "results" page. Fictionally, the Sith faction has captured the Ronnis system from us, and the Teyeong system from the Imperials. The Sith now maintain a commanding 7 planets, but of note; the Rebel faction still maintains the 4 they started with, leaving the Imperials on their last bastion of hope in the sector. To find these fictional results, please look at the ORW3 "maps" page.
The RS had a decent showing in this last battle, with participants battling in each and every game in the competition. It is of note that we had less participation than last week, and if we want to assure our survival in this competition, we'll need to step our game up again. The RS member with the most matches played was Kaz with 28. The player with the most total wins was also Kaz with 22, he has been really dominating the JO scene for the RS, and for that I wish to extend my personal thanks. There were 3 RS players whom went undefeated in this past ORW III, Raven (16-0), Jotheb (2-0) and HeavyD (2-0), congratulations you three on a strong showing. RS merits have been updated for participation, and Operational Developement Pins have been awarded to all participants.
Kaz - 22/6 - Alliance Dagger
Raven - 16/0 - Endor Victory Citation
Jester - 5/14 - Endor Victory Citation
Merlance - 5/16 - Endor Victory Citation
Reb Jaxra - 2/7 - Valiance Combat Citation
Kane - 4/1/1 - Valiance Combat Citation
Agent Yoda - 3/1 - Valiance Combat Citation
Jotheb - 2/0 - 4
HeavyD - 2/0 - 4
Folen - 0/3 - 3
Blackhawk - 0/2 - 2
Phil - 0/1 - 1
As an aside, due to his tremendous participation in Outer Rim War III overall, and his unrelenting destruction of people in Empire at War, I am hereby promoting Agent Yoda (1LT Joshua Mumishi) to the rank of Captain.
Battle 6 of the Subterrel Conflict will be next weekend, March 10 and 11th. In order to assure that the Sith do not eliminate the Imperials (We want to be the ones that stick the nail in the coffin ;) ) and that the Sith do not pull ahead of us by too much; we really need to make a strong showing and win this upcoming battle. Please come out and support the Rebel Squadrons in the upcoming competition, every match played (won or lost) makes a contribution to our cause. Good luck to all of the competitors.
