Greetings fellow RS members.

Battle 6 of Outer Rim War 3: The Subterrel Conflict has concluded. Even with a significant Rebel Presence, we again managed only a 2nd place victory in the competition. We had plenty of pariticipation but due to the tremendous number of Imperial-Sith matches we weren't able to make up their early advantage. Many players participated in each and every major game of the competition, and our participation was again at a good level. Our BF II and I players were again absent, which was unfortunate as plenty of matches were played in these games. TO THE RESULTS!

=Battle Results=-

The winning faction in Battle 6 was the Sith Faction, setting the bar at 1,497 points. The Rebel faction came in second with 1,181 points, and the Imperials came in third yet again with a score of 1,058.5 points. The RS as a club managed to garner 751 points, well over the majority of the faction total. To see the results sheet, please visit the ORW3 "results" page. Fictionally, the Sith faction has captured the Yeseo system from us, and the Derxes system from the Imperials. The Sith now maintain a dominating 9 planets, the Rebel faction still maintaining 3. The Imperial faction has been completely eliminated from the competition. To find these fictional results, please look at the ORW3 "maps" page.

-=Participants=-

The RS had a sub-par showing in this last battle, with participants battling in most of the competition games, but not nearly with the fervor of battles past. We saw another slight loss in participation from last week. Now, however, it is absolutely vital that we step things up. The next week or so will decide the competition, and we are still most assuredly alive. The RS member with the most matches played was Raven with 26. The player with the most total wins was also Raven with 25. Only 1 RS player went undefeated in this past battle, Dale with a record of 3-0, but other RSers maintained very high victory-to-loss ratios, the statistics of which can be seen below. RS merits have been updated for participation, and Operational Developement Pins have been awarded to all participants.

Raven - 25/1 - Endor Victory Citation
Agent Yoda - 11/1 - Anchorhead Key Citation
Kaz - 11/3 - Anchorhead Key Citation
Reb Jaxra - 3/3 - Heroic Combat Citation
Vaughan - 0/15 - Heroic Combat Citation, Violet Cluster
DaLe - 3/0 - Valiance Combat Citation
Jalen Ramz - 0/6 - Heroic Combat Citation, Violet Cluster
Anton - 0/4 - Violet Cluster
Sconn - 1/0

-=Next Battle=-

Battle 7 of the Subterrel Conflict will be next weekend, March 17th and 18th. With the Imperials eliminated, we need to step things up in order to beat the Sith back. Because of our win-loss ratios versus the Sith and the participation that I know we can garner, this competition is still WELL within our grasp. We need to make a strong showing and win out in the competition in order to eliminate the Sith. Please come out and support the Rebel Squadrons in the upcoming competition, every match played (won or lost) makes a contribution to our cause. Good luck to all of the competitors.

Since it'll only be Reb/Sith battles, i'm confident that we can, and will, win this if everyone gives their all to win their matches. Good luck, have fun, and have an awesome, pie-filled day.

I really like it how we have this level of reporting on battle results. Usually you just get a table of who got what points and who the top players were. Go RS, Woo!
