1) New CD XO appointed

MAJ Reb Jaxra has been appointed as new Commando Division Executive Officer. In addition of the moderation of the current BF2 1v1 tournament, Reb will also be the moderator for the BF2 ITOD.
Congratulations Reb, drinks are on you tonight.


2) BF2 ITOD

a) CD 103
So, finally after three weeks (ouch!) I am getting to you with the 103 resume. I am sorry for the problems you may have encountered around the deadline or before. Unfortunally RL troubles prevented Whisper from being online. Nevertheless, merits and awards have been handed out. Congratulations to Reb for taking the first place.

As for those of you who actually reported a screenshot but your report didn't appear on the ITOD scoreboard, sorry for that. Your CD merits have been updated nevertheless.

3) Multiplayer

a) BF2 Flag Week 5
The BF2 FW is currently on, until Thursday midnight EST. Reb has been the only playing CD member so far. It would be nice to see a few more players show up. The link for the event:

b) BF2 1v1 tournament
The signups for the 1v1 tournament have ended. An IRC draw of the pairs will be done soon and it will be posted with the rules then.

c) BF Battleweek 18
ER will host another BF Battleweek, starting 11th May. Hopefully overall activity in this event will be better than last time. The homepage of the event can be found here:

d) RC Bactaweek 12

4) Other News
a) CD merits
As some of you might know, in the CD merit system, 1 CD merit has been awarded for 2 matches played (+1 merit for each win). During ORW3 and the following events, I started to award 1 merit for each match played(+1 merit for each win).

b) CD graduation and post-graduation training
The graduation requirements for the CD are going to be redone. Also We would like to aim to set up a post-graduation training programe for CD members. If you would be interested in helping with either graduation and/or post-graduation issues, now would be a good time to let me know. :)
