Greetings pilots!

The winds of change blow through the RS again, especially for us as you all know. We recently changed our name from the Patriot Battle Fleet to the Patriot Starfighter Group. Also, changes of command have taken place, which I will announce later on.

Now, for the real news. As you all know, GDF 1.01 is out there on the killboards, as well as contained within the email that I sent to you all. I made an error in my fleet-wide email (oops….) regarding the due date of the mission. The REAL due date is November 18, 2007 at 11:59 PM EST. And as for narratives, they will be accepted until November 25, 2007 at 11:59 PM EST.

I would now like to take a few moments to introduce you to your PSG Command Staff, as well as introduce some semi-new faces. I am Lieutenant Colonel Eric Reagan (as you all know); formerly SO, and now Commanding Officer. Brigadier General Max Cal has been, and will remain on the Command Staff as my Executive Officer. I will now introduce you to your new PSG Second Officer, as well as our newest Squad CO.

Major General Anton Nels, please step forward. You all know Anton well, so I do not need to introduce him. If you are a Goldie, you know him especially well, mainly from his motivational emails that claim to “kick your ass to Endor and back,” if you don’t fly the mission. His motivation, dedication to this fleet and his unrivaled command experience will be a welcome addition to my Command Staff. Anton, I am proud to welcome you as my new Second Officer. I am very confident that you will be able to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of your position, and I look forward to working closely with you in the future.

Lieutenant Colonel Galic Mars, please step forward. Many of you know Galic as well, especially those of you who were a part of R2W before the fleet mergers. I have spoken to several people, and they have all said nothing but good things about Galic. He has served at many levels of command in the past, and he continues to do so as the Executive Officer for both the Vigilance Starfighter Group and the RS Academy. His contributions to our fleet and the RS are a testimony to his character. I am confident he will be able to perform his duties without much ado. Galic, I am proud to appoint you as Blue Squadron’s Commanding Officer; take good care of them.

If you see these two individuals, please congratulate them, and have them buy you a round of drinks! That is all for this episode of the PSG Newsletter. Tune in next time for more exciting news!
