As the heading suggests, I am opening the RID CO position for applications. I erroneously evaded correct procedure on reassigning a CO for the RID. I apologize for the confusion that resulted from this and I take full responsibility for the angst that ensued from it. To correct the wrongs, I am following correct procedure and leaving it open for applications. As I would like to get this wing off the ground soon (it's too new of a platform to die off), I would like to cut off accepting applications by next week (Friday). Again, I apologize for the confusion and I can guarantee you all that this will not happen again.
