I. Intro
Well, it's that time again. Time for another newsletter. Now, you'll notice that this newsletter has a few sections in it that you won't normally find. That's why this one is so important, so listen up.

II. New medal (or 2)
Yes, you heard right, there is a new medal. It is awarded when 85% of the active members report on a mission. More info about that medal can be found right here
The other medal medal that might be created is like that one, only awarded at 90 or 95%, not sure which. Good luck earning it!

III. RID 112
On that note, you all should do RID 112. It's the only way to get that medal is if the mission gets done, and I KNOW you all can do it. The mission is known as Raygss Nebula in EaW, as some of you have gotten confused on that. The reporter is the main RID site with /report.php added at the end of the URL. If you all have any other questions, feel free to ask, as I KNOW you all can do it.!

IV. Promotions and Recognitions
I've promoted both Dismal and Kashi to Captain for their SUPERB work as TF COs. Teu, you're getting there, you just need to get home and find some time to get stuff out and wake up Chisha and you'll probably get it. As for the rest of you, good efforts on the reports, but I want to see more of you reporting. I'd like to see a repeat of 111. However, I do understand that some of you are on vacation and such, which is perfectly fine. Good luck :)

V. MP Activity
First of all, I've seen more of you around on ICTE, which is fantastic. Represent this wing! :) Also, I'm trying to start two internal brackets in the wing. One for competing squads, and one with everyone in the RID with one top winner. However, I need a little bit of help getting this thing done. If anyone has any ideas on how we could do this, that would be great. Thanks in advance for whatever help.

VI. New scoring system
You heard right, I'm implementing a new scoring system that will be effective as of the start of Tour 2. The change to this scoring system basically involves scrapping the time component of this. Instead of time, you all will get a certain number of points for playing a certain number of MP matches. That system can be found here at Cyrel's last post. Feel free to post any thoughts.

VII. Merger with RSCD
As some of you may or may not know RID is absorbing RSCD on or about 7/7/08. However, JO/JA will be dropped. This means that we will basically be picking up BFI and BFII in the form of a squad. The RID CS will still be in charge of the wing. If anyone has any questions, feel free to contact me or Spokes.
