Ladies and Gentlemen:

I regret to inform you that the Patriot Starfighter Group will no longer support the TIE Fighter platform. Over several tours of duty, participation in TIE missions has been analyzed, and it has been continually declining. I also feel that we have wasted the time and energy of our resident TIE Fighter mission builder, Muzor.

We will return to where we were so long ago, where we had X-Wing as our solitary platform. However, this does not mean that support from the RS will stop as well; this will only pertain to the PSG. If at a later date it is determined that we should resurrect this platform, this decision will make such an action possible.

I would like to thank those of you that took the time and made the effort to fly the TIE missions in the past. Your dedication was clearly noticeable to my Command Staff and I. I would also like to thank Muzor personally; without him, we would not have been able to keep the platform alive for as long as we did.

If any of you have issues with this decision, please feel free to contact me, and I will answer any questions you may have. Thank you for your time.

'':)
Brigadier General Eric Reagan
Patriot Starfighter Group Commanding Officer
